This hard top tri-fold cover is built for the Chevy Silverado’s 6.5 ft bed, using an alloy steel frame with a fiberglass panel top. The tri-fold design lets you open just the section of the bed you need, and each panel locks down independently with the tailgate and side latch system.

As with the rest of the Autobull lineup, the goal here is a lower price point than the premium tonneau brands without dropping the core materials that matter — the frame is still alloy steel, the panel is still fiberglass, and the mounting hardware still locks. The tradeoff for the lower price is a narrower style range than some premium brands offer, but the materials themselves aren’t downgraded to hit that price.

Confirming Your Chevy Silverado’s Fit

Bed length has to match exactly for the panels to seat on the rail and seal correctly. This cover is built for the Chevy Silverado’s 6.5 ft bed — check your bed length on the door jamb sticker or in your owner’s manual before ordering, since Silverado is also sold with 5.8 ft and 8 ft bed options depending on cab configuration.

How Installation Works

1. Clean the bed rails. Wipe down the factory rail where the clamps will sit.
2. Position the panels. Set the tri-fold assembly squarely on the rail, front edge first.
3. Clamp and torque. Hand-tighten the included clamps, then torque them down evenly.
4. Square it up. Check the front and rear edges sit evenly before final tightening.
5. Test the latches. Open, close, and lock the tailgate and side latches to confirm smooth operation.
