Autobull keeps the lineup narrow on purpose — hard top tri-fold and soft roll-up/tri-fold covers, built from the same core materials, priced below the premium tonneau brands.
Two Styles, Not Six
A lot of tonneau brands sell five or six distinct styles — hard folding, soft roll-up, retractable, low profile, hinged — each with its own tooling, hardware, and R&D cost baked into the price. Autobull carries two: a hard top tri-fold with a fiberglass panel, and a soft roll-up/tri-fold/quad-fold with a PVC top. Narrower lineup, lower overhead per SKU, lower shelf price than brands maintaining a wider style range across the same trucks.
That’s the tradeoff we’re upfront about — if you need a retractable or low-profile cover, this isn’t the store for that. If a hard tri-fold or soft roll-up covers what you need, this is a lower-cost way to get it without giving up the core materials that actually matter for durability.
What’s Actually in the Build
Every Autobull cover uses an alloy steel frame. Hard top tri-fold covers add a fiberglass panel for the load-bearing top surface; soft roll-up, tri-fold, and quad-fold covers use a PVC vinyl top stretched over the same steel structure. Locking clamps and weather-stripped seals are standard on both styles, not a paid upgrade — the same hardware spec across every truck fitment we carry.
Ten Truck Fitments
Full-size trucks (F-150, F-250/F-350, Silverado, Ram 1500/2500/3500), midsize trucks (Frontier, Colorado, Canyon), and compact/specialty beds (Ranger, Ridgeline, Gladiator, Maverick) are each listed by exact bed length — not a universal-fit cover stretched across multiple trucks.
Fitment Comes Before Style
Before comparing hard top vs. soft cover, confirm your bed length and check for fitment exclusions. RamBox, MultiPro/MultiFlex tailgates, and CarbonPro composite beds change the bed rail profile in ways the standard clamp mount doesn’t always support — check the specific product listing for your truck before ordering.

Why does Autobull only sell two cover styles?

If you need a retractable, low-profile, or hinged cover, that’s outside what’s currently offered here — we’d rather say that upfront than stretch a claim about a style we don’t actually sell.
